Big Steel bearings to fit Shimano HT2 & Raceface X-Type bottom brackets.
The bearings in this kit are bigger than stock, replacing the factory plastic sleeve to support the axle directly on the bearing. Shields are included to protect the bearings from direct contaminant entry.
Silicone Spacer Shield Size: The shields are available in two different sizes. Bottom bracket cups from Shimano require either 37 mm or 41 mm diameter shields. Raceface bottom bracket cups require 41 mm diameter shields. Please select the size you require above.
Important: FSA MegaExo cranksets have a slightly larger axle that means they won't fit through these Big Steel bearings. They will however fit with the 6805 bearings and plastic sleeves as there is enough give to allow the larger axle to be pushed through.

Bearing Press Service: These bearing kits are available with or without Shockcraft's bearing press service. By having us press the bearings into your existing BB cups, remove the risk of bearing damage during installation.

You will receive an order confirmation email with details on where to send your bottom bracket for its service. Turn around time is 2 to 3 days.CNC Storm Drains: For those riding in wet conditions we can CNC water drains into your bottom bracket cups during bearing replacement. These water drains allow water to escape from the cup before it can corrode or enter the bearing. The modification is invisible once the bottom bracket cups are assembled.
