Rockshox 3 wt oil is 14cSt @ 40°C
Motorex 2.5 wt oil is 15 cst @ 40°C
Shockcraft Hot Oil Pink is 13.5 cSt@ 40°C
Shockcraft Hot Oil Green is 19 cSt@ 40°C
Shockcraft Hot Oil Pink is our highest performance damper oil and least temperature sensitive. But it amplifies shim noise.
Shockcraft Hot Oil Green is our second highest performing damper oil. It is quieter than Pink but noisier than Motorex 2.5 wt.
Motorex 2.5 wt is our quietest damper oil and also more slippery. It can be used anywhere specifying Rockshox 3 wt or 5 wt oils. It has very low noise when used in rear shock and fork dampers.
Any of these can be used in damper applications in place of Rockshox 3 wt.
