RockShox Pike A1 2014-17

The A1 Pike was a complete redesign with a new fork chassis. It uses the 35 mm stanchions and offered different air springs and dampers to any previous Rockshox Fork. It debuted the Charger damper, now known as "Charger 1". Air springs were either solo air with self-balancing positive/negative (via a notch inside the stanchion) or Dual-Position-Air (DPA) which uses an internal needle to select two different travel options. It was available in 26, 27 and 29" wheel sizes. This model was not boost and internals (spring and damper) changed length with wheel size.

Shockcraft Recommended	RC/RCT3 - Hot Oil Green in Charger Damper for quiet operation. RC/RCT3 - Hot Oil Pink in Charger Damper for highest performance. Motorex Supergliss 10 cc bath oil in both sides. Slickoleum - air piston & seals
