Manitou Front Suspension Options
We have two options for the front of the Riese & Müller Load 60/75 cargo bikes:
• Machete JUnit Pro 32 mm. These are Manitou's first generation of the JUnit forks. They are gloss black with a silver crown and come with Manitou's IRT (Infinited Rate Tune) Volume Adjuster and Dorado Air Spring. We have been able to secure a very small number of these first generation JUnit forks. Please contact us to confirm availability.
• JUnit Comp 32 mm. These are Manitou's second generation of the JUnit forks and are based on the original Machete JUnit Expert (as pictured here on the Riese & Müller Load 75 cargo bike). The Junit Comp 32 mm fork is matte black with black crown, does not have the IRT and uses Manitou's Expert Air Spring.
Important:
The Manitou JUnit forks are rated for up to 150 kg on conventional bikes with load through the steerer tube. Use of the forks on other bikes, including those with a steering clamp like the Riese Müller cargo bikes, is at owner's own risk.

Superb fork - I bought this to use on an electric cargo bike, and it's exceeded my expectations. It made a huge improvement in compliance and handling over the cheap stock fork, and everything feels top-quality. Very responsive adjustments and very refined damping feel; it simply eats curbs and drops, and the stiffness is really noticeable and confidence-inspiring at high speed (up to 70 km/h so far) compared to the low-grade fork it replaced. Awesome bottom-out control too.
