Rear Shock Custom Tuning:
This is a fully engineered damper tune. It is a set of calculations, modifications & tuning for the Fox Float DPX2 2018-2021 air shocks. It includes internal modification and internal tuning (revalving) to make the rear shock work for your weight, terrain and riding style. This gives you more comfort, control, traction and speed.
Your shock will be dyno tested before, during and after the tuning is done.
Your shock will be vacuum bled with Motorex or Shockcraft oils during the tuning process (usually several times).
As well as the internal tune, your shock will have its clickers set to provide the level of compression and rebound damping we think you need and the shape of damping curves that we think you need.
We will provide you with this baseline tune and direction on how to tweak from there based on your preferences (sticky vs poppy etc).

I picked the norco C2 model because I ride a wide variety of trail and park and I figured a tunable Fox X2 shock paired with Grip 2 Fox 36 fork would be great starting point. Wrong! Inspite of my best efforts over a season, I couldn't get the bike to ride the way I wanted it to. I rang Dougal to discuss the what Shockcraft could do to help.After explaining the issues and giving my rider profile infomation to Dougal, he got stuck in and gave my X2 "the treatment". The result of his custom damper tune is amazing, my whip never felt this fast or controllable. I have much better traction now and the bike's sitting higher in the travel. Best of all, the harshness felt from day one is gone. The bike is really great now. There's just one problem, the new tune is so good, it's highlighted the forks less than perfect factory feel. Might need Dougal to sort the grip 2 damper tune for a more balanced ride!- Bruce
