On Labour Weekend Bike Wanaka ran the 10th Deans Bank 10 Hour race.  We ran a special "Most Suspension" Competition for the biggest bike pedalled around the track.  We had plenty of enthusiastic entrants from 160 mm on up and a Commencal at 180 mm. But the winner was out in a field of her own.

Emily Schmidt of Wanaka rode her Dad's 2004 Zerode G1 with 9.25 inches (235 mm) of rear travel and 8 inches (200 mm) of front. Most impressive was her 49 minute lap time.

Emily plans to split her $200 Shockcraft voucher with her team-mates as they shared the time hit.
